Hail to the theif (2003)

January 25th, 2009

Thought it would be time to actually *own* one of Radiohead’s albums. Decided to go for one of their experimentation hybrids that would soon grow into their complex establishment of genre and style.

My First Audio Upload

January 5th, 2009

Ever since I began this blog, I have been trying to figure out how to upload audio files. I noticed that it would allow you to, but it would never work. I now realized after I read some specifications that the file size must be no more than 2M (2 MEGABYTES I’m guessing). In simple terms, if you have music on iTunes and would like to upload a song, it can’t be more than about 1 and a half minutes. So, you could call this a breakthrough!!

So, here is my first audio upload. This is a sample of a song I created on Fruity Loops Studio 7. Enjoy!

NEW Lyrics Page

January 5th, 2009

As of now, I’ve decided to begin to write lyrics officially (as in no partials and will begin saving and keeping them for possible future use, or other uses). I’ve already created the page, now I just need to get to work. I’m looking forward to this because I have a ton of ideas!

I will update the page every time I have a completed piece. I suspect it will take a while since I really don’t want to rush. I’m thinking I’ll be able to produce 1 or 2 pieces a month. We’ll see. Anyway, I’m pretty stoked about it. I NEED SOME HONEST CRITICISM. DON’T BE SHY TO MAKE SUGGESTIONS OR POINT OUT ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT!

BTW leave comments on this post here, since you cannot comment on other pages!

Thanks

Kingdom Hearts Original Soundtrack Complete

January 1st, 2009

* Would you like a copy of the Complete Soundtrack? Let me know! *

+All the music from the Kingdom Hearts series+

For around $100 – $150, the Kingdom Hearts Original Soundtrack Complete box set could be yours. But would I let $150 I didn’t have get in the way of my soundtrack needs? Nah. So after hours of clicking and dragging until 4 am, I found the complete soundtrack in mp3 downloadable format, downloaded each individual track and welcomed them into my iTunes library.

So, if you know me, and would like a copy of the Kingdom Hearts Original Sountrack (which contain about 229 tracks), let me know and I will gladly burn you a copy! Oh and by the way, I am running short on blank CDs, so I will need you to provide about 5 and you’ll get your copy (that is if you want all 229 tracks).

But if you just don’t have five, give me what you got and I’ll try my best to fill it up with the best songs that will fit. You’ll probably be happier with one CD filled with only the best tracks; a lot of the tracks in the entire soundtrack are background songs for about 80% of the game where you are simply exploring different worlds. And most tracks are quite repetitive and not as exciting or colorful as the tracks played along with the video clips in the game. The game designers put all of the good songs with the videos.

PS – I guess you could call it pirating or illegal, but I’m not asking for any payment, I’m just sharing the love.. 229 tracks at a time :)

Your Welcome

Disc 1 and 2. Short, but awesome

Discovering The Cure

December 23rd, 2008

I’ve never liked or even listened to old music before. Especially from the ’70s and backwards! My general view of old music is quite unforgiving and quite harsh. I never appreciated old(er) music.

Well, thanks to my iTunes Genius Mode, I discovered The Cure; a band that formed in 1976.. Woah! And I like them? The answer is.. yes. At least a handful of songs so far. They’re very interesting and are one of the few bands that I have to LEARN to love. The same was true with Radiohead.

So, you got a disease? I’ve got the cure! Let’s see how far I go with this.
